ENSUREAL presented at Indo-European Meet

On the 18, 19 and 20 September 2019, ENSUREAL, together with the SCALE and RemovAl projects, was presented at the Partnership Instrument EU-REI  event “Indo-European Meet on Resource Efficiency in the Aluminium Industry with a Focus on Effective Utilization of Red Mud (Bauxite Residue)”. After a first round of meetings with the highest levels of the Indian Government and industry on the 19, a one day workshop followed where the state of play, opportunities and challenges related to the issue of Bauxite Residue management and valorisation were presented and discussed. On the 20, a visit by the EU Experts to the Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development & Design Centre (JNARDDC) premises in Nagpur took place, to learn about the research and innovation activities, and to discuss future EU-India collaboration possibilities with the JNARDDC as well as with additional Indian research centres and with the Indian industry.
